Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a proven technology that widely used in solids/liquid separation process in wastewater treatment system. DAF unit generate “whitish water” by dissolving air under pressure and then releasing the pressure to form micro fine bubbles. These micro bubbles will attach to the particulates or suspended solids. The buoyant force of the combined particulates and gas bubbles will be raised to the surface, where they thicken by natural de-watering and are then removed by means of a mechanical scraper.

JORSUN DAF adopts the innovative technology and exclusive design to enhance the separation and clarification of insoluble contaminates in wastewater treatment process. The utilization of parallel plates (lamella) pack technology has provided the highest separation surface in a compact DAF unit and thus enhance the separation efficiency of the unit. In addition, the DAF unit can also be integrated with flocculation system to enhance the removal of oils or suspended solids up to 95% or more of flocculated sludge/scum, reduce the COD/BOD and FOG.
